Otherland Society

Welcome to the Otherland, a place where the bounty of the land is respected and nature is cherished. The brand name and visual identity concept invites connoisseurs and casual sippers to be a part of the Society, learn about the company's cherished "Otherland" in the Florida Everglades and embrace the world around, no matter where they call their Otherland. This responsive identity system celebrates the craft heritage of the brand (founded by a sugarcane farming family) with an established OS monogram that's supported by traditional typography. The Wild Hare Dark Rum varietal badge and packaging was designed to scale, as other types of rum could be named after another animal found in The Everglades.

A website was designed and built to educate consumers about the rum and lead them to a clear "buy now" call to action. Brand applications such as corporate stationery, an ice stamp, coasters and a flexible table runner designed to fit any width of table were created for the brand to promote their flagship rum at various events in the Southeast US and beyond.
